What is the Walworth Society

The Walworth Society aims to:

  • Be a voice for people in Walworth.
  • To preserve and protect its rich architectural heritage.
  • To protect and help improve its green and open spaces.

The Walworth Society was established by, and is run by, volunteers from the local community. We are a strictly non-political group and aim to work positively and constructively with the Council and we greatly value the support and advice we receive from all of our councilors across the local area.

We were formed in December 2011 and we have a written constitution, elected officers and a committee which meets on a monthly basis. If you would like to join our email list and become a member (no fee charged) please just send a request on the contact us form or send an email to info@walworthsociety.co.uk
