Walworth Society - Latest News & March Meeting

1. Walworth Road Post Office Changes – Public Meeting

Concerns about the impact of the changes to the status of the Walworth Road Post Office and the threats to local services have led to a public meeting being organised on Saturday March 12th at 10am (to 12 noon) to be held at St Peter's Church, Liverpool Grove, SE17 2HH. Speakers will include Neil Coyle MP, a representative of the Post Office and Ian Ward of the CWU. There will be a discussion about the changes and the impact of the downgrading from a Crown Post Office to a franchise and how local services can be maintained.

Please do pass on news about this to other people and come along on the 12th if you can.
