| 3. Walworth History Diversity Tour – Sat 25th November. A free local diversity tour, Saturday 25th November, which animates some of the communities and people who have made the Walworth area and the Aylesbury estate home. The event is brought to you by the Kaleidoscope Festival and is part of our community based projects which are highlighting local diversity through a range of performance, events and free tours. The tour will see actors bring to life some of the local characters including Prince Monolulu who was a tipster on East Street market and the first Black man on the BBC in 1936. The tour will also highlight stories of locals who have shared their journeys and oral histories. The tour runs from Walworth Square from 1pm and finishes then brings us to Pembroke House where we have a sharing element inside with free food. African dance and music and stories from the Windrush.
