1. Walworth Society General Meeting – Wednesday 17th January 2024 7pm – guest speaker Miatta Fahnbulleh.
Some way off but we are really pleased that Miatta Fahnbulleh will be the guest speaker at our January meeting. Miatta has been selected as the Labour Party candidate for the new Peckham constituency (which includes North Walworth and Faraday wards). Venue for the meeting and full details TBC.
2. Walworth Community Pub – Festive Event Thursday 30th November.
News from the Walworth Community Pub project that their festive knees up is just around the corner, on Thursday 30th at the Huntsman and Hounds PH in Elsted St SE17.
There will be FOOD provided by a brilliant local chef, drinks galore (it is a pub) and entertainment in the form of fiddles and ukuleles. Plus just the right amount of pub chat, updates and gossip.
