Beehive PH Planning Appeal – Date of public hearing: 10am Tuesday 22nd October 2024.
News that there will be a now be a public hearing to hear the arguments around the Beehive PH planning appeal. This is set for 10am Tuesday 22nd October 2024. The venue is the Southwark Council offices: Room GO2 160 Tooley Street London SE1.
The original application to Southwark Council (23/AP/0481) to turn the Beehive PH (62 Carter Street, Walworth SE17 3EW) into residential accommodation was refused by Southwark Council on 7th Jun 2023 and the applicants then appealed that decision to the Planning Inspector. Originally this appeal was to be decided by representations in writing only but the Planning Inspector has now chosen to hold a one day hearing. This is set for 10am Tuesday 22nd October 2024 at Room GO2 160 Tooley Street London SE1.
Please put the date in your diary! We would love (and really need) to have a large number of people attend the hearing to show the Inspector the huge support that exists to retain the Beehive as a public house.
We will provide more information about how the day will work etc as soon as we receive it but for now please do consider coming along if you are free and pencil in the date. Many thanks.
