You may have heard that Transport For London (TFL) is proposing to scrap the 415 bus service which connects the neighbourhoods and communities of Elephant & Castle and Walworth with Old Kent Road, Kennington, Oval, Brixton and Tulse Hill. The changes will adversely impact residents travelling to work, particularly in the morning and evening rush hour, to school and for recreational activities – the route spans 3 large parks including Kennington Park, Burgess Park and Brockwell Park, smaller parks including Elephant Park, and multiple venues including pubs. TfL is consulting on withdrawal of the 415 bus service until 15 November 2026 at the below link. If you are impacted by the proposed changes please complete the quick TfL consultation and help to save this important and popular bus route. Please also share the consultation link widely. https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/routes-415-333-changes |
