News about roles at Tannery Arts
Applications deadline: 16th October 2020: Tannery Arts/Drawing Room – a studio provider and public gallery – is recruiting voluntary, non-executive members to join its management committee. We are seeking individuals who:
- Are passionate about visual art and believe that it is essential to life, and is key to building communities and supporting a fairer, more open, society.
- Feel that visual artists ask questions about our world that cause us to think in different ways.
- Would like to help make central London artists’ studios sustainable in the long term as a vital part of making London affordable for all.
- Wish to play a substantial role in shaping the future of an institution that invites people of all ages and backgrounds to discover contemporary drawing.
Tannery Arts Ltd is an established non-profit organisation, a unique creative partnership comprising a studio provider – Tannery Arts – and a public gallery -Drawing Room. Tannery Arts has three studio buildings in Southwark and Drawing Room is currently located in its Elephant and Castle premises. Purpose-built, permanent premises in Bermondsey will accommodate studios and Drawing Room from 2022.
